Fresh from a weekend aboard the Queen Mary where they attended the Alliance for Biking and Walking’s Leadership Retreat, Frank Peters and Pete Van Nuys will speak in Laguna Beach at 6pm Thursday September 13th.
Join us for a lively panel discussion on the efforts of Newport Beach, Dana Point and Laguna Beach to create more bike friendly roads and trails, and promote this healthy alternative to driving. Learn about the many progressive things happening with our neighbors to the north and south, and the opportunities here at home.
Our panelists include:
- Frank Peters is a noted serial entrepreneur, TED speaker, podcaster, and passionate bike enthusiasts with 2 blogs – bikeNewportBeach and cdmCyclist.
- Pete Van Nuys is the Executive Director of the Orange County Bicycle Coalition, Pete speaks for Orange County’s bicycling population on matters of access, safety, equitable law enforcement, and education.
- Norm Grossman is the Chair of the Laguna Beach Planning Commission, which is charged with authoring Laguna Beach’s mobility plan for the next 10 years.
