Want to burn some calories before the big feast?

Come along on the 2nd Annual Ride up the Santa Ana River Trail to the Honda Center.

Last year’s ride was just a small crowd, but the experience was super. The Santa Ana River Trail goes off-road all the way to Anaheim Stadium and the Honda Center. The route is flat except for the dipsy-doodle ups and downs as the trail passes below the many roads spanning the river.

This ride is a perfect way to spend the morning — without the roar of automobiles in your ears you’ll have time to talk and relax as we lazily peddle through Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Santa Ana, Garden Grove, Orange and Anaheim. You won’t believe how quickly time passes as we take this bike highway into central Orange County.

I’ll be hungry at the half way point and I know exactly which Mexican restaurant will be open for a late breakfast, so bring some spending money for a snack.

We’ll return to the Newport Pier a little after 1pm. It’s an easy off-road route, so bring a friend and join us:

  • 8am Wednesday November 23rd
  • Meet at the Newport Pier
  • Easy, Off-road & Fun
  • About 30 miles round trip
  • Remember sunscreen!
